A new era ...or a new error?

My third book, "Do the Birds in the Wilderness, Not Heard, Stop Singing Their Songs?" ...the title reminds me of the prophet Jeremiah's lamenting, or John the Baptist preparing the way.

The prophet, Jeremiah ...because he was a prophet representing God, he told the truth.  Yet, when Jeremiah told the truth ...he considered whether anyone at all was listening.

John the Baptist seemed to be a bit more confident, and didn't concern himself whether people would get upset ...he felt the truth had to be told, and would be less consequential than if it wasn't told.

On page 129 of my third book, the land of Thelona is described. Those with whom I had the pleasure to work with, and share a sort of sense of humor with, may understand, but I guess I wouldn't expect the rest of you to understand.

The Ist people are those commonly seen by therap-ists, psycholog-ists, psychiatr-ists ...but, for the simplicity of the story, I omitted the fact there are the IST people (Incompetent to Stand Trial).  The Enji R. Eye, is actually NGRI (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity).

And this is the land of Thelona that is described in my book:

The place is Thelona.   Many people visit here, but only two types of people actually live in Thelona.

One type are the Ist people.   They are supposedly unable to function without guidance, so they have many visitors whose actual names are seldom spoken --as their names are not nearly as important as their highly esteemed titles, and too complex to identify ---yet, all ending in 'ist', and referred to as "my -ist".

The other type are the Enji people.  All of the Enji people, for the most part, see everything the same way …and they all have the same middle initial, 'R', because of who they 'are'.   And they all have the same last name of 'Eye' …so they can see things through the same eye, the same way, of course.

Of the two, the Engi are the worse off ...and while the first group is thoroughly incompetent, this group is utterly insane. And these insane, same people ...can for the most part be distinguished from the Ist people by their first names. Though the Ist people have common first names, like you and I ...there is a similar ring to the names bestowed upon the Engi people: Benji, Denji, Menji, Penji, Senji  …all very highly respected, and direct descendents of the great, great Grandmother of them all, Enji R. Eye.
Indeed, it appears their deeds are mostly overlooked ...and it appears to be a very happy place, with much easy living.

Thelona …oh, my sweet, sweet Thelona!  The Highly Esteemed Land Of No Accountability.

Today, this United States of America that we live in, is sadly becoming like Thelona. We have NGRPA ...Not Guilty by Reason of Past Administrations, but really they are IST ...Incompetent to Serve Themselves, meaning:

They themselves are incompetent to serve our nation.  So, I guess I misspoke in stating "Incompetent to Serve Themselves" as that is what they are competent in doing ...serving themselves.

Thelona has also become Theloo ...sort of sounding like a Dr. Seuss storybook.

Theloo could be shortened to simply, Loo ...Land Of Opposites.   As with the much wrong with Thelona, the Land of Opposites is even worse.

When I worked for the Department of Corrections ...I saw what many of you hear about, and it is true that gangs do exist within prisons.

I won't go into all the psychological terms, but I will simply say there are certain personality types that do survive, even within the confines of facilities where we'd hope those personalities would be curbed.

But those personalities don't only survive in the prisons ...they thrive in many other areas.

Sadly, there are many similarities between those in prison, and those who are not.

They both loudly protest that others are doing things ...in reality, masking the fact that they are the ones doing those things.

They will quickly use any sort of cry of injustice, or label themselves as a victim of intolerance ...while they are planning or executing their own offence.

They claim that no one cares, and will even proclaim there is a direct plot to destroy them and their future.

Then if it is pointed out that what they are doing is that very thing ...they will claim it is absurd.

So they beat us to the absurdity, then retreat a bit, protesting our defense as a cruel offence.  All they want us to see is the confusion ...to quickly sway us to their side, the wrong side, by tactics appealing to our various individual weaknesses.

It's like a Land of Opposites, but more accurately, it is a spiritual battle waged against truth.

You may ask how a person is to know who is telling the truth?

It's like the riddle of the Truth-tellers and the Liars ...not knowing which is which.

But to begin with, I don't have to solve that riddle (though I have).   I look to the Bible as truth ...and those who are most ready to disregard what the Bible says, they are the ones that are clearly opposing truth.

Does that mean that anyone who doesn't oppose Biblical standards ...is telling the truth, in regard to other things?

Absolutely not!

They may not be telling the truth about other things, but here is the main point ...I am not bothered so much by that!

Yes, it does bother me some, and sometimes more than just some ...but it is not the same as giving up my freedom to worship, and freedom to try to live according to the standards I believe in.

God is truth ...and the foundation of truth.

If we compromise away that truth, we have no truth at all ...so what would it matter if we were lied to about other things.

There are many levels on which we are led: the family, the community ...inclusive of our churches and schools, and our states and nation ...and state of our nation. But we are mostly led by God, as individuals meditating every day upon His Word, in the Bible.

If we remove that influence in our communities and in our schools, we will soon lose it within our nation.

So when I look to who represents me, in our nation, it is those who politically do not attempt to erode the foundations upon which we were built ...mainly, those principles grounded within our faith in God.

Can we not see that it is a spiritual battle waged against truth?
